Hi everyone.
Just last week, I came across one of those colour advertising leaflets/inserts which come with newspapers. It was for Lidl and featured children's toys. I looked through it. My heart sank when I saw the picture of a little girl playing with a toy kitchen. "More gender stereotyping", I thought.Â
However, on the next page, I got a surprise. There was a picture of a little boy, happily smiling away as he played with a toy iron and ironing board set. So well done Lidl  for showing that you don't have to resort to gender stereotypes in order to advertise your product/services.Â
