The first strong female TV character i fell in love with.

They say that there were no strong female action hero characters back then on TV .
If you were a four year old child there was . DESTINY ANGEL . From Captain Scarlet . She was a jet fighter pilot from Spectrum cloud base .

Yes she was a great role model for strong women . I was meaning more like a strong woman doing an inherently male job at the time . There were no female combat jet pilots back then accept the Angels . Flying state of the art jets like this one . You might say it's a puppet show and make believe . Not when you are a little kid though lol .

TBF, even as a puppet show it says something about those that wrote it that they chose to innovate gender roles in a way seldom seen at the time.

I have lost count on how many times I was put over Mrs Peel’s lap for a bare bottom spanking, and the times she used to bathe me before putting me into a nappy at bedtime. Yup in my dreams.
remembering her dressed as a nurse and also in leather holding a whip

I loved Colonel Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, too, although probably more because of her very tight, shiny outfits than her strength of character.

Do you remember the episode where colonel Wilma Deering is being undressed by the dwarfs when they did the “off think” I was as hard as Maggie was too the miners for a week.

I see Emma Peel already mentioned and Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers.
But there's another Buck Rogers character that had a strong effect on me

She commands an empire and has nearly naked men fight for her amusement.
