Pedi-walker
#1
Elsewhere I have read stories in which petticoated boys are forced to wear a "pedi-walker" which is some type of boots (baby boots?) which are attached or clipped to an adjustable brace designed to ensure a proper gait or stride by positioning the feet in a certain way or limiting the length of stride.  Google shows typical walkers (Zimmer frames) but nothing that seems to fit the descriptions I have read.
Can anyone provide more information or pictures?  Thank you.

Think of a boot worn over the lower leg (ankle) to support the injured foot.
