How were your nappies bought and stored?
#1
Hello all,

Another question for all of you who suffered the indignity of being put back in nappies. It's in two parts:

Firstly, how were your nappies bought for you?
Did they magically just appear at home, having been bought while you were at school, as an embarrassing reminder that you were going to be wearing them for some time to come yet?
Or,
Did your mother buy them for you during the usual weekly supermarket shop (assuming you fitted into babies nappies), with you having to look at the packet(s) in the shopping trolley whilst you walked around?
Or,
Did your mother take you on a trip to the supermarket specifically to get you your nappies, making you carry the packs around yourself?
Or,
Did your mother take you to a particular specialist shop (chemists/mobility shop etc) where you would be bought your 'big boy' nappies if you didn't fit into babies ones?

Secondly, where were your nappies stored at home?
Were you allowed to keep them privately in your wardrobe, so visiting friends wouldn't see them (but there was always a slight risk of them being discovered)?
Or,
Were there full and half opened packs on the floor in your bedroom where anyone might see them?
Or,
Were there perhaps packs sitting on kitchen shelves where any visitor might see them and ask why, as you didn't have a baby in the family, there were nappies on the shelf?

You get the idea. I'd love to know what your situations were, and the feelings they evoked.

Terry.

My terry nappies were all bought or made for me as I was allergic to the disposable ones at the time . Something to do with the bleach used in manufacture . My nappies pants and other baby supplies were stored on the shelves under my changing table . Mu baby clothes were in the wardrobe next to it and in my aunts room .
There was never anything private about my nappies or nappy changes .
Angel A little bit of hanky panky does you good .  Angel

In the early days of my nappy punishment when it was just an occasional occurrence under my lolita style dresses they seemed to just appear; I suspect in reality mum must have been hoarding them with the knowledge that from time to time I was going to be wearing them.

In the latter stages of my nappy punishment however, by which I am referring to the stage just before I left home, I had to bring them in myself. As I was slated for secretary punishment during the day, I could pretend that I was buying them for someone else.

As for storage, at the point of the permanent regime, my entire wardrobe changed. Prior to this stage, my every day wardrobe had actually been fairly typical with my skirt, dress and nappy punishment stuff being kept in mum’s room...but of course once the new regime came into play, there was no need for me to have a male wardrobe at all; my male clothes went into the attic with a half dozen pencil skirts, a half dozen blouses and the same amount of high heels making up my new wardrobe.

My underwear was similarly cleared away and I had around 12 pairs of knickers to recycle on my top drawer. My second drawer was where my new pull up nappies were stored for night time. When I brought them in from the shop I had to open them up and lay them out in there just like regular underwear coming back from the wash.

When I was first subjected to baby punishment I was six years old. I'd only been out of night-time (and occasional day-time) nappies for twelve months, so Mummy knew which size to buy me and where from. Maybe she even had some left over - she did produce some of my old plastic pants for me to wear.

As I got older I was taken to Boots to buy my nappies. I remember it being really embarrassing having to stand there while Mummy looked though the nappies while she decided which ones were best for me, and then having to hold her hand while we queued to pay for them.

Of course, as I got to nine or ten years old this became even more humiliating, especially if one of the assistants came over to help, and Mummy would explain that the nappies were for me. Often I would have a nappy on under my shorts or trousers, and I was always sure the assistant could tell.

By the time I was a teenager I was sometimes sent to buy my own nappies. Now that was truly excruciating. I was no different to most teenage boys in that I was terribly shy about talking to girls, so when a young assistant came over to ask if she could help me I wished the ground would open up and swallow me. Having to answer her apparently innocent question "Are they for you?" made my cheeks burn red with shame.

At home my nappies were kept on a shelf in my bedroom. There was no hiding from them, as they were a constant reminder of the fate that could await me at any time. And of course any friends who came round and went to my bedroom would see them.

My baby knickers were kept in my underwear drawer, along with my boy's underpants and the girly knickers I'd been bought. By the time I was eight or nine I had baby dresses too, and these were kept in my wardrobe. I used to see them every time I got my school shirts and trousers out.

I think it was all part of my mother's plan to subdue and humiliate me by keeping my nappies on display on my bedroom shelf. It was terribly embarrassing.

I know what you mean; it was horrible having to wear nappies when you were far too old for them. What always struck me was when I was under nappy punishment during a family function.

You’d have my cousin’s children (toddlers) wearing dry nappies or sometimes even underwear, and I would be stood there stinking the place out in a wet or dirty nappy. As a thirteen year old playing in a wet nappy with your three year old cousin who is just starting in big boy pants is about as humiliating as it gets.

There's no doubt, Girlygirl, that being in the company of other children of mixed ages, some very young and some your own age, when you've been put back into a nappy, is incredibly humiliating.

Having your nappy checked in front of everyone, especially when you know it's wet, and that the toddlers are either in trainer pants, or nappies which they've managed to keep dry, is so embarrassing.

And then, of course, there's the abject humiliation of having your nappy changed in front of everyone...

I had a mixture of terry nappies and disposables.  They were all in my bedroom, taking up a lot of space, quite openly alongside associated items: safety pins, pads, a changing mat that was put on my bed each morning after I got up and stayed there until bedtime, powder, cream, plastic and rubber pants, training pants, waterproof bedding.  Most of this stuff was just bought for me without me being there, but now and again, I'd be there when it was bought.  It was, of course, rather embarrassing to have your incontinence referenced in public, when you were there but was, thankfully, not a regular occurrence.

The first time Jim bought me diapers, we were in K Mart, and it was a pack of "Attends Youth." I was already upset at having an accident while riding in his Jeep, and upset that his solution was for me to wear diapers (not a punishment, just a practical and logical solution). He had me carry them to the checkout, which I didn't like doing, and I think its VERY same to say the woman at the checkout knew they were for me (she was literate, after all lol). As time went on, I didn't mind carrying my diapers in the store because I was happy to wear then because of the protection they offered, and how safe they made me feel, and they were also fun to wear Smile

I only wire them when I was with Jim, so in my room at his house there was always a pack or two under my bed, and diapers out of the pack on top of the dresser (short dresser, only 2 drawers). I didn't try to hide them at all because everyone that saw me with Jim knew about iur relationship, so it was no big deal.
