A Little Girl's Story

Dear Auntie Helga,

Hi, my name is Dawn, and I am 18 years old. I have been reading your page for a couple of months, and wanted to share my story.

I was born as a boy, and I have a little sister. My dad left my mom and my sister when we were little. I actually don't remember him at all. So I spent all my life growing up in a house with only girls, my mom and sister. Unlike a lot of the people that send their stories to you, I was never rude to my mom or my little sister. I was very kind to them, and tried to always be a good boy. I remember that one time, when my sister, Camilla and I were with a babysitter, she asked me if I could please do her a favor.

I, of course, said yes. So we left the babysitter downstairs, and I went to her room. There, she asked me to wear her clothes, so we could be sisters for a day. I was too little to care, so I said yes. So she gave me some panties, a small purple dress, a pair of Mary Janes, and I got dressed. Then she put some barrettes in my hair. I really looked like a girl. So I played with her dolls and her, and even though I was a little embarrassed, I felt proud because I could see how happy she was. After I think, half-an-hour, I got back in my clothes. She never told anyone, and we never mentioned it again.

But as I was growing up, I never forgot it. And I always wondered what it would be like to have been born as a girl. Which is probably why I always chose female characters when I played videogames. And one of the videogames I liked the most were Pokemon games. And one day, I was on the internet, looking at some stuff, when I saw a link for a "Pokemon Trainer Dress-up Game". I opened it, and I was fascinated. I loved making girls, and giving them special hair, and changing their clothes... And every time I made a girl that I really liked, I took a picture, and saved it in my computer.

One day, as my mom was doing some work on the computer, she found the pictures. She called me, and asked me what they were. I was really embarrassed, and told her I didn't know, I said they must be Camilla's. She called Camilla, and she said that she had never see the pictures before. Mom saw what was going on, and told Camilla to go to her room. Then she took me into her room and told me she knew the pictures were mine. I was almost in tears by now, and I just told her how I had been making the girls using an online game. So she came with me to the computer, and realized I was pretty much playing with dolls. She just smiled, and said it was okay for me to be playing with dolls. I wanted to tell her they weren't dolls, but decided to just leave it at that.

A few days later, when I got home from school, she called me into her room, and she told me to close the door. I did, and then she took out a dress and some other clothes, that looked similar to the ones I put on the computer dolls. She told me that since I liked making dolls look pretty, maybe she and I could make me pretty, and that it would be our little secret. I was really nervous, but decided that it sounded fun. So I said yes. So I took my clothes off, and she helped me put some of the clothes on. I looked really funny, but she told me that if I grew my hair out, I would look a lot like some of the girls from my game.

So I did, keeping a boy-ish hairstyle, which my mom made girly when we dressed me up. One day, Camilla came home early from school, and saw me as I was walking around the house with my dress on. She was really confused, until my mom talked to her, and explained that I really like dressing up. So from then on, Camilla was the one that chose my clothes, and made me look really pretty. I took the name Dawn from the name of one of the girls from my videogames. And from that day on, I was Camilla's older sister and dress-up doll, and I love it!

Thank you for your letter Dawn. What a wonderful start to a life of silky pleasures, your are so fortunate to having an understanding mother and sister to share this with, enjoy these times Dawn, they are so very special.
