Another Interesting Transition

Dear Helga,

Firstly, let me congratulate you on such a wonderful website. I absolute love Petticoated.com - unlike my older brother Robert, who feels very differently about your website.

Now let me introduce myself: my name is Rachel. I'm 18 years old. Robert is 22 years old, nearly five years older than me - although, as our teachers have constantly pointed out over the years, he certainly doesn't act it!

My story begins last November, when Robert returned home from university. You're probably thinking November is a little early to arrive back at home. And, you're right, it is. The only reason Robert came back was that he'd flunked his exams and misbehaved badly on campus.

Auntie Lucy, who's looked after us both since I was 2, was absolutely furious. As well as the usual student debts, Robert had run up several credit bills in high-street stores. When Auntie Lucy spoke to him about it, he was very rude to her - something he still regrets to this day.

Exasperated, Auntie Lucy spoke to some of her friends about the situation. It was then that one of her friends mentioned Petticoated.com, assuring Auntie Lucy that, as weird as it may seem, it would help her straighten Robert out in no time at all.

Within days, Robert was under a strict petticoating regime. His male underwear was confiscated (not binned, mind you - we had something else in mind) and replaced with a drawer of feminine silk and satin panties. He was given a range of nighties, babydolls and petticoats to wear around the house.

Robert was also given a firm chore rota. For me, this was very convenient: with my school exams on their way, I was in need of a break from my share of the housework. With no job or exams to attend to, Robert had little leeway to argue against his forty-five hour a week designated share.

Just as a treat for your readers, I've sent you a photo of Robert performing some of his chores. While I'm sure the photo will have you all giggling, there are two things I'd like to draw your attention to in particular.

As you can see in the picture, one of Robert's jobs is to dust off all the surfaces and furniture. And do you know what he's using to dust, clean and scrub? Yup, it's his old designer boxer shorts - the ones he frittered some of his money on. Since he won't be wearing them, Auntie Lucy hacked them up into cleaning rags.

Secondly, I'm sure you'll notice how Robert's nightie is just a tiny bit too short to cover his panties - leaving a humiliating exposed patch of pink satin on show. Hehe, well that's no coincidence.

Little does Robert know that Auntie Lucy and I picked one that would be just so - just a few inches too short to spare his blushes. It's so funny - watching him try to tug it down or stretch it. Sometimes, he briefly succeeds. Then, as soon as he gets back to work, it rides up again, exposing his sissy undies.

Anyway, I'd like to end my letter on a celebratory note. With my hands free of chores, I managed to put so much energy into preparing for my end of school exams. After getting the top results, I've been offered a place at King's College, Cambridge, to begin in September 2009.

So, in two months time, I'll be heading be off to the ivory towers to make the most of all the education and culture on offer. Do wish me luck. You might also be pleased to hear that Robert's university (a less-reputable one: the boy has never applied himself) has kindly offered to let him return to his studies.

They did offer him a room for this September. But Auntie Lucy and I think he's still far too immature to attend. We've told the university to postpone his place for a bit longer. We told a rather tearful Robert that we'll reconsider his situation next year, once I return from the inevitable post-university summer holiday.

So thank you once more for your brilliant website - both my Aunt and I are regular readers. Robert doesn't get much time to go online sadly, but I do like to read him the occasional letter. Indeed, I'll certainly be reading him your response to this letter.

Best regards to you and all the readers. I'll endeavour to stay in touch at university.

Yours sincerely
Rachel

Thank you for your letter Rachel. You and your Aunt are to be commended for the program that Robert is now undergoing and I'm sure our readers would love to hear from you again.

Helga
